For your convenience, we offer you a variety of payment options. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal, and Bank Transfer.

No surcharge on direct bank transfers. 2.6% surcharge on credit card transactions. 2.6% handling fee on Paypal transactions.

Do you give discounts or special offers?

Do you offer photography gift vouchers/certificates?
Photography gift vouchers make awesome gifts for your recipient! So yes, we do offer. If you’re interested to purchase one, just contact us or call 0422 756 825.

Can I get a refund?
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your delivery of finished images via email or a cloud service such as Dropbox, we will give you a 7 day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. Please email us at within that time so that we can resolve any problems.

This refund policy does not apply to photographic images that you have decided that you just don’t like the delivered images or if you change your mind. All images produced by Gotham Studios Melbourne for Lisa Saad Photography Pty Ltd will have client approval on the day of the shoot for each and every image produced that will be deemed the final image/product of either the person, location, event or product photographed.


What are your studio office hours?
Our studio is open approximately from 7 am to 6 pm on weekdays and approximately between 9 am and 5 pm on Saturdays.
If you need to book an appointment beyond these hours, we can schedule a session on a case-by-case basis based on our availability.

How to get via public transport?
Gotham Studios Melbourne is located at 32 Garfield St, Richmond VIC 3121, Australia
If you’re taking the public transport, the following transport lines have routes that pass near North Richmond

Do you only have one studio location?
Yes, as of now we have just one studio location in Richmond, VIC. But we do shoot throughout the state and sometimes destinations outside Melbourne or even outside Australia.

Does the studio have a parking space?
No, parking is on the street. Just please be mindful of the parking signs and times.

Does the studio have heating or air-conditioning?
Our studio has both heating and air cooling facilities for all seasons so you can be comfortable any time of the year!

Does the studio have a changing room?
Yes, we have a changing room and bathroom facilities for you to use.

Can I bring a partner or friend along to watch?
Yes you may, however, our studio is compact and we will ask your friend/partner to be mindful of the areas they can view the shoot from.

Can we bring our pet to our photo session?
Sorry, no pets are allowed in the studio. If you are allergic to cats or have some other pre-existing condition involving cats, please let us know as we have three very friendly studio cats that sometimes like to come and say hello.

How long has been Gotham Studios Melbourne been in business?
Our principal photographer, Lisa Saad, registered her business in 1988 whilst she was still in her second year studying BA of Photography at RMIT. She then went on to incorporate the business in 1993. Three years later, Gotham Studios Melbourne was officially launched in 1996 in Richmond, Victoria not far from where we are now.

We specialize in providing high-end photography services to B2B clients across Australia. We offer a variety of photography services such as commercial, corporate, dealership, event, location, logistics, and product photography. We also do retouching services and full production shoots.

Yes, definitely. You only have pay the difference between the two packages.

Do you offer services for corporate functions, events, trade shows, etc.?
Yes, we do. We have provided photography services to various businesses and corporate entities. 

Do you give workshops for aspiring photographers?
Yes, we do. Our principal photographer, award-winning commercial photographer Lisa Saad, runs workshops and mentoring courses. For more information email us at
Gotham Studios Melbourne has been organising workshops since 2015. These workshops are designed to be exclusive and affordable. Each session is packaged to help accelerate your rate of learning within the topic. All workshops are facilitated by Lisa Saad, principal photographer and owner of Gotham Studios Melbourne.

Do you offer retouching services?
Yes, we do. For the past 15 years, experienced retouchers at Gotham Studios Melbourne have been providing high-end photo retouching services in Melbourne and Sydney. We specialize in realistic retouching and have collaborated with photographers, graphic designers, ad agencies, and corporations, demonstrating an excellent record of professionalism over the years.

Do you offer hair and make up services?
At this stage we do not offer this service.

Do you do printing services?
No, not at this time.

Can I choose a particular style for my photoshoot?
Our packages are designed in a way to make them affordable and efficient. If you book a package, please read the inclusions of that specific package. If you would like a more bespoke style shoot, please email us at and we can talk about your requirements.

Do you instruct for posing? I’m kind of awkward/unphotogenic.
Oh yes, don’t worry, we got you! We’ll be there to find the right angle, smile, and mood that suits who you are and what you would like to share on your LinkedIn profile.

What should I wear?

Can I get all the raw photos from the shoot?
We make sure to give out the best version of you and your image/s taken at Gotham Studios Melbourne so no, we do not provide the unedited RAW images.

I want some blemishes/scars removed, can it be done?
Yes, we have decades of experience in image editing, making us capable to remove and improve your images. Just please let us know on the day what you would like changed or removed so we can do it for you.

How long will it take to get my photos?
You definitely don’t have to wait long. Your photo/s will be emailed to you asap so you can put it to use, usually within 24 – 48 hours.

How are the photos delivered?
Selected photo(s) once retouched will be sent via email as high and low resolution (if requested) files.

How do you send me my photos?
Depending on the package you purchase, your photo/s will be emailed to you asap so you can put it to use within 24 hours. Delivery of both high and low resolution images will be via a cloud-based service such as Dropbox.

Do you shoot in JPEG, small raw, or large raw?
We shoot in native RAW file which we edit in Capture One software and export high resolution JPEGs.

How many photos will I get?

Do I get the copyright to my photos?
Gotham Studios Melbourne generally gives unrestricted usage of their photography and video produced, for a website, intranet, internal and external publications in Australia for 36 months. No contact for permission to use the photography and video is required during this time. After 36 months, we request that you contact us to further extend the time or update the photography and video. Please message us at if you have any concerns.

When reproduction occurs, our accreditation request is due as follows: ©gothamstudiosmelbourne. These are our ‘moral rights’ and it’s our return for unrestricted usage. Longer usage periods can easily be negotiated upfront and usually involve a percentage of the original fee.

Third-party usage is not granted and if required, we request that you message us at for negotiation and consent via written form by both parties. You do not have the right to sell the photographs and videos to stock libraries, or any other organisations.

Will my photos appear on your website and/or social media?
Yes, we may, at our discretion, create a social media post or a blog image of your photos. If you prefer it not to be published, just let us know during the shoot so we can take note of your request.

How long will our session take?
All scheduled appointments are by appointment only and are kept to 15-minute blocks. No more than two people can attend a session at a time. If your group consists of more than two people, we may ask that only two enter the premises at a time in accordance to existing COVID and Studio safety protocols.

What if we exceed our contracted time for our appointment?
Please come at your allotted time. Arriving early may impede on a session before you just as staying longer may affect the session after you. We will let you know if we can have extra time added to your session at no extra charge.

What if I come in late for my booked session?
Please come at your allotted time. Arriving late may affect the session after you. If you are running late, please give us a heads up by calling 0422 756 825 or emailing us at ahead of scheduled time to avoid booking cancellation.

What if I need to cancel?
If your booking needs to be cancelled due to government restrictions, you are entitled to reschedule, at no added cost, provided that you inform us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. In case of a client exhibiting symptoms on the day of the booked session, we may arrange for a rescheduling of your appointment to a later date.

What if I need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule, please email us with your booking confirmation with your desired rescheduled date and we will be happy to accommodate as much as possible.

What if I don’t have an appointment, can I just drop by the studio to get my photos taken?
Unfortunately, no. For everyone’s health and safety, we are strictly by-appointment only.
